Born To Run were led to their 0.4 point victory by a 23.6 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Detroit Lions defense for 351 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 16.5 point effort from Dallas Clark, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 105 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"This team shows a lot of pride," Born To Run coach George Ralston said.

Sicilian Death Match were helped out in a losing cause by a 34.8 point effort from DeAngelo Williams, who beat the New York Giants defense for 108 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs. With this performance, Williams was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 15.0 point effort from the Tennessee Titans Defensive Team.

"They outplayed us in every phase of the game," Sicilian Death Match coach Art Walker said.

Compounding the issue, Sicilian Death Match could have scored 115.7 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Art Walker left key players like Derrick Ward and his corresponding 21.5 points on the bench.

Sicilian Death Match drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for Born To Run to 7-6, and drops Sicilian Death Match to a record of 8-5.
