| All week reports had Brandon Jacobs playing and starting. Reports this morning is that Jacobs would be playing in full. Now, at 2:00 pm gameday, they say he will not play! I would definitely have put in Pierre Thomas, who plays Monday Night, but I can't, because the rules are so inflexible. Neither player has played yet, and I can't make a lineup change, thus getting screwed over in the biggest game of my season. And this is the second time I've been screwed over for this week's game. I put in a blind bid for Dustin Keller of $16, a pretty aggressive bid, and planned on him starting this week if I won. So I don't submit my lineup, and Heath Miller plays Thursday night. I lose the blind bid, and can't use Heath Miller's production only because he played a Thursday night game, when I clearly would've have started him over Billy Miller. The fact that we have waivers that affect our matchups taking place AFTER one of the weeks' games has been started SUCKS BIG BALLS! Next year, we need to have a rule in place that blind bids happen on Tuesday nights, with Wednesday nights being the next wiaver/free agent pickup round. That way, this crap doesn't happen. Another thing is that we should be able to make lineup changes if the players' affected haven't started their games yet. I have little chance of winning because of inflexible rules regarding lineup submissions. This week's outcome basically eliminates me from contention and it's f-ing wrong that I wasn't even able to put a lineup out there that even had a chance. ![]() ![]()

| They Might Be Giants:> All week reports had Brandon Jacobs playing and I hear ya. The simple and easy solution would be to have a first come, first serve waiver period after the blind bidding deadline each week. The blind bidding deadline should be moved to midnight on Wednesday for weeks when there is a Thursday game, followed by FCFS waivers right up until game time. And why are we locked in at a maximum of two FA moves per week? I could see this with the old web site when FA's was processed manually. However, now that FA's are processed by the web site, I don't see why there is any maximum limit. And to solve the line-up problem, simply make the deadline at GAMETIME for all players. Mark |
