LOL.....Not only does Vultures have a crap team, and not make any moola this year, he obviously doesn't know the rules either.......Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha.....![]() B. Free Agents/Waiver Request periods will begin during the week after NFL week 1's games and will continue until the Saturday before week 15's games. No free agent players may be acquired through waivers after this point until designated free agent periods during the league's off-season |

No, the Vultures were not in line with league rules. He had 7 QB'S but not a K or Def. You have to field a complete lineup even in offseason.

Actually I just figured if everyone else was doing it, what was the harm in me doing it as well since the season was over. Lets see here, Tennessee Tornados- Week 3,6, and 7 he went without 2 RB's since Maroney was out. Tennessee Tornados- Week 4 went without a defense because his was on a bye. Tennessee Tornados- Week 8 went without a QB because his was on a bye. Tennessee Tornados- Week 10 went without a K because his was on a bye. Tennessee Tornados- Week 13 went without a WR because Burress was suspended. House Toppers- Week 2 went without a defense because his was on a bye. House Toppers- Week 7 went without a RB/WR only had 1 RB starting and 3 WR's when he had backups who played and scored points. House Toppers- Week 10 went without a TE, WR, and Defense because they were on a bye. So even though I was going without a valid lineup and he changed it back, apparently the rules only apply for some of us. There are 8 weeks right there that they had invalid lineups, and had plenty of people to drop, or backups they could have used. Heck Brownies went so far as to drop his best player when he was on a bye just to have a valid lineup. I just figured that rule didn't actually apply since nobody else seemed to be following it. My apologies.

Not sure about the cases you brought up but rule 4 allows for an abnormal numbers of players on bye weeks. Commish's discreation if you are trying to throw games. Since all of these instances involved 2 teams maybe the owners didn't pay enough attention. That doesn't mean everyone should pick and choose what they want to follow. You have a bullshit league then. Let's not allow this league to turn into that. Rosters can expand to 22 in off-season anyway no need to not have someone at every position.

Well not to argue, or anything, but allowing for abnormal on bye weeks, I would consider the off season a pretty big bye week. I wasn't trying to throw anything or pull something over on anyone, its the off season. Honestly I didn't even read the rules close enough to know that we have to maintain even in the off season, will do better in the future. Kind of pointless to maintain in the off season if you ask me, but hey I don't make the rules, I'll just follow them. P.S. on a side note, brownies you have alot of bent up anger in you. I'm going to guess one of a couple of things have happened in your life, you either A. Have a wife that doesn't like you. B. Have no friends, or C. Have a crappy job where everyone hates you like a cop, or highway patrol, something that everyone would rather spit on you then look at you. Which is it??? Or possibly even all 3, no friends and a wife that can't stand you so you have to be a cop so you can force people to do as you want. Its got to be one of the above for you to be such an angry person, when me having my team put back together because of a small reading error that had nothing to do with you makes you post like this.

I am pretty sure it is C, right Mitch? I think I remember him saying he is in law enforcement. One thing to think about in trades is that you don't have to stay at 18 in off-season, rosters expand to 22. So if you get 3 for 2 don't cut them there is space for extra man. On your examples I found one that is excuseable Week Two House Toppers defense on a bye. This wasn't a scheduled bye. The Houston/Baltimore game was postponed after Saturday waivers. If NFL had acted sooner he could have gotten a D.

Ahh I forgot about the unscheduled bye, correct. As for it being C. Ding, ding, ding, no suprise really. You can't have a crappy job like that where everyone hates your guts and not have some anger build up inside you. Thats usually the way it goes good people become cops, and it makes them into huge A-holes. So if thats the case Deputy Dog, you are forgiven, go ahead and vent! And after you get done, send me some trade offers to get me kevin smith.

Yes, Steve is right...However, I'm a retired cop after 21 years of a distinguished and an honorable career....I spent 10 years as an Orange County Deputy Sheriff, in Orange County, Calif. After I worked the Rodney King/LA riots, with a beautiful wife and 4 kids under the age of 10 (9, 6, 4 and 2) it was time to get the hell outta Dodge. Worked almost 11 years as a Sergeant with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, just west of Salem, Oregon. I retired in 2004 because after 21 years, I WAS BURNED OUT....BAD.....Dealing with that element of life day in and day out, takes it's toll on ya !!!! And it was me and it was affecting my marriage. That, along with me losing a close friend and fellow cop in the line of duty on Christmas Day, 15 years ago, makes this time of year a little less joyful and bright. As far as my marriage, I have been married to the same beautiful, patient and understanding woman for 26 years !! We celebrate #27 in February !!!!! Our 4 adult children are all doing well, as well. My son attends Oregon State (GO BEAVS...I LOVE BEAVER!!!! )So, you were partly right....as far as anger and being negative, nothing could be farther from the truth. I am very, positive and upbeat 99% of the time !!! And, I have a twisted, demented sense of humor that won't quit !!! Steve, along with some of the other owners that know me from other leagues, will attest to that !!!! I love having fun, dishng out shit and getting it back..... So there you have it in a nutshell !!!!! Good peg on your part.....Are you a psychologist and/or do you have ESP ???????

lol your wife told me all about you being a cop last week when she had me over, remember that night that you were gone and didn't get home late, and your wife had just gotten out of the shower? j/k. Actually its ESP. I just couldn't figure out if you were seriously being a prick or doing like I have been doing to AL all year and giving him a hard time. Does sound like you have a wonderful family though. Your son play football there? I have a great family myself, in fact, I'll let you try out my wife for a night in exchange for Kevin Smith? Heck I'll even throw in Trent Edwards in the deal.
