According to Dave, there's some new rules that makes it so if you didn't add players without dropping any during the preseason, you aren't allowed to add them any other time.  As of right now miami, Blue Boys, The Fonz, Run N Gun, Screamin' Eagles, and Who Dey Express all have under 32 players and according to Dave, all 6 teams will have to play with less roster spots than the other 6 teams.  I'd like to have a vote to change the rule so that we can all have the same amount of players.  All that needs to be changed is this line "For each winning bid, the winning team must drop a player to make roster room for the free agent acquisition. No bid will be accepted without a dropped player."

I can't believe a change like this would be made without letting us all know MULTIPLE TIMES AND VERY EXPLICITLY WITH BIG CAPITAL LETTERS.  And did we vote to add this rule?  Why would it be added?  What benefit does it bring?  Is it there just so those who pay attention to the random changes gain an advantage over those who don't?  Otherwise I don't see the point.

If that is going on then yes I agree with you. The rosters are set to 32 and 2 and if you are not using all of your slots then you should be able to process waiver requests without a drop required.

I spoke with Dave about it and he said half the league will not be able to field a full 32+2 like the other half due to this rule.  I think it needs to be changed now and I'm asking for a vote or correction.

OK Dave, I believe that this is the rule that is being referenced for this discussion:

For each winning bid, the winning team must drop a player to make roster room for the free agent acquisition.

This rule states that the reason for the drop is to make roster room for the acquisition however if room already exists then it is my stance that this rule implies no drop is needed. Otherwise the words "to make roster room" would be unnecessary. Could you please clarify?

Thank you
