(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2008) In a week 16 Jim Brown rivalry, Born To Run squeaked by a tough Sicilian Death Match team by a score of 96.0 to 95.6, extending the winning streak for Born To Run to 3 games.

Born To Run were led to their 0.4 point victory by a 23.6 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Detroit Lions defense for 351 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 16.5 point effort from Dallas Clark, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 105 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"This MVP award belongs to the whole team," Born To Run coach George Ralston said.

Sicilian Death Match were helped out in a losing cause by a 34.8 point effort from DeAngelo Williams, who beat the New York Giants defense for 108 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs. With this performance, Williams was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 15.0 point effort from the Tennessee Titans Defensive Team.

"We came out flat," Sicilian Death Match coach Art Walker said.

Causing further embarrassment, Sicilian Death Match could have scored 115.7 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Art Walker left key players like Derrick Ward and his corresponding 21.5 points on the bench.

Sicilian Death Match drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for Born To Run to 7-6, and drops Sicilian Death Match to a record of 8-5.

With this performance, Cutler was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 14.7 point effort from Randy Moss, who got by the Arizona Cardinals defense for 87 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"We proved we're the better team," Tyler's Big Red Machine coach Tyler Boss said.

Denny Crane were helped out in a losing cause by a 16.8 point effort from Tony Romo, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 252 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards. They also got help from a 9.8 point effort from Greg Jennings, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 38 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"They out-muscled us," Denny Crane coach Andy Heward said.

This brings the record for Tyler's Big Red Machine to 10-3, and drops Denny Crane to a record of 10-3.
