(FFChamps) Lions running back Kevin Smith returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury. The Detroit News reports Smith split the first team reps at running back with Maurice Morris during the portion of practice open to the media.

Analysis: Barring a setback it does appear that Smith is going to be able to play this Sunday. How well he plays and how many touches former Seahawk Maurice Morris siphons against his former team is still the question.
