(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 MFLaddons.com Superleague showdown, APDPL/HOC CommshBearCats beat a strong AAFFL - Commish team by a score of 160.80 to 139.40, extending the winning streak for APDPL/HOC CommshBearCats to 3 games.

Adrian Peterson

APDPL/HOC CommshBearCats were led to their 21.40 point victory by a 28.70 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 94 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 43 receiving yards. With this performance, Peterson was the number 3 ranked running back for week 16. They also got help from a 20.00 point effort from Steve Smith, who snuck past the Carolina Panthers defense for 70 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"I'm happy I could make a contribution," APDPL/HOC CommshBearCats coach Robert Sepulveda said.

AAFFL - Commish were helped out in a losing cause by a 21.70 point effort from Ryan Grant, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 97 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. They also got help from a 21.10 point effort from Philip Rivers, who got by the Tennessee Titans defense for 264 passing yards and 2 passing TDs.

"We weren't mentally prepared," AAFFL - Commish coach norm said.

Adding salt to the wound, AAFFL - Commish could have scored 162.90 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but norm left key players like Jonathan Stewart and his corresponding 30.20 points on the bench.

AAFFL - Commish drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 38 out of 46 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for APDPL/HOC CommshBearCats to 6-5, and drops AAFFL - Commish to a record of 5-6.
