SEVENS at Mo Money

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2009) Coming up in a week 16 Great Lakes Power League battle, the 7-7 SEVENS play the 8-6 Mo Money.

SEVENS were led in week 15 by a 26.90 point effort from Miles Austin, who beat the New Orleans Saints defense for 139 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, SEVENS can expect a 24.5 point effort from Chris Johnson in week 16, who is expected to beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 125 rushing yards and 1 rushing TDs in addition to 40 receiving yards.

"We're the sentimental favorites," SEVENS coach Steve Mitchell said.

Mo Money were led in week 15 by a 28.60 point effort from Andre Johnson, who tore apart the St. Louis Rams defense for 196 receiving yards. In addition, Keith Bulluck was not injured in week 15 and contributed 4.50 points, but he's now on the injured reserve, which will prevent him from contributing at all this week. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Mo Money can expect a 24.5 point effort from Jason Snelling in week 16, who is expected to sneak past the Buffalo Bills defense for 65 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 30 receiving yards.

"There's bad blood between these two teams," Mo Money coach Skip Allen said.

In week 6, Mo Money defeated SEVENS by 0.50 points, so coach Steve Mitchell is looking for revenge this week.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2009) In a week 16 Great Lakes Power League classic, SEVENS beat a strong Mo Money team by a score of 142.05 to 120.05, silencing a partisan crowd of 67,717.

Tom Brady

SEVENS were led to their 22.00 point victory by a 29.75 point effort from Tom Brady, who got by the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 267 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 4 rushing yards. With this performance, Brady was the number 3 ranked quarterback for week 16. They also got help from a 26.90 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 142 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 37 receiving yards.

"We've got the greatest fans in the world," SEVENS coach Steve Mitchell said.

Mo Money were helped out in a losing cause by a 24.65 point effort from Kurt Warner, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 313 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 10 rushing yards. With this performance, Warner was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 16. They also got help from a 20.00 point effort from Steve Smith, who snuck past the Carolina Panthers defense for 70 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"These guys have nothing to be ashamed of," Mo Money coach Skip Allen said.

This brings the record for SEVENS to 7-7, and drops Mo Money to a record of 8-6.
